LOCTITE 601

A green, high-strength anaerobic retaining compound engineered for securing slip-fitted and press-fitted parts with a maximum diametrical clearance of 0.1 mm (0.004"). Formulated as a single-component, low-viscosity (125–150 mPa.s) dimethacrylate ester liquid that fluoresces under UV light, it fixtures on steel within 25 minutes and operates across -55°C to 150°C (-67°F to 302°F). Prevents loosening and fluid leakage caused by heavy shock and structural vibration, delivering a tensile shear strength on steel of 17.5 to 22.5 N/mm² (2,540 to 3,260 psi).

Applications

Securing critical machinery components including bearings, bushings, gears, pulleys, rotors, and shaft sleeves.
