PPG Sealant PR 1440 B-1/2

A two-part, manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide seal compound designed for high-integrity structural sealing. Formulated as a thixotropic, non-slumping gray paste, it provides an application life of approximately 30 minutes (1/2 hour) and operates across a temperature range of -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C) with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C), delivering exceptional resistance to jet fuel, aviation gas, and synthetic lubricants.

Applications

Sealing aircraft integral fuel tanks, fuselage joints, and pressure cabins (ideal for fillet and structural gap sealing on vertical and overhead surfaces).
