PPG Sealant PR 1440 B-2

A two-part, manganese dioxide-cured synthetic rubber polysulfide compound designed for structural and fuselage sealing. Formulated as a low-sag, thixotropic paste, it is easily applied via extrusion gun or spatula across vertical and overhead surfaces, offering a 2-hour application life at room temperature. Operates effectively across -65°F to 250°F (-54°C to 121°C) with short excursions up to 275°F (135°C), retaining high flexibility after long-term exposure to jet fuel, aviation gas, and water.

Applications

Sealing aircraft integral fuel tanks and fuselage joints.
