PPG SEALANT PR 1770 B 1/2

A two-part, manganese dioxide-cured Permapol P-5 polysulfide sealant formulated as a low-sag, thixotropic dark gray paste. In its B-1/2 grade, it provides a 30-minute application life at room temperature and operates across -67°F (-55°C) to 356°F (180°C), retaining high elasticity (tensile strength ~522 psi, elongation >400%) after exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas.

Applications

High-strength sealing of aircraft integral fuel tanks and fuselage structures via extrusion gun or spatula.
