PPG SEALANT PR 2001 B-2

A fast-curing, low-odor, two-part epoxy-cured Permapol P-3.1 polythioether sealant formulated as a light gray, low-sag thixotropic paste. In its B-2 grade, it provides a 2-hour application life at 25°C (77°F) and cures rapidly independent of relative humidity across an operating range of -80°F to 320°F (-62°C to 160°C) with short excursions up to 420°F (216°C).

Applications

Aircraft integral fuel tanks, fuselage sealing, and aerodynamic smoothing requiring rapid cure and high fluid resistance.
